Why is "Epson Status Monitor 3" listed 5 times in Task Manager

I'm troubleshooting a flickering/black external monitor issue, updating several drivers, and found "Epson Status Monitor 3" listed 5 times in Task Manager and wondering why. I have had to re-install the driver for this Epson XP-200 printer, and I also have a 400 series Epson printer up north. I've tried disabling all 5 in the startup tab and am about to restart and see what effect it might have.

I have one Epson printer (L3160 ink tank) and the Epson Status Monitor 3 process only appears once in my Task Manager.
