Win 10 + Logitech C920 webcam: CameraWindow says 'cannot detect camera'; any advice?

Trying/failing to use Logitech HD C920 Pro webcam with Win10 CameraWindow. This app pops up a tiny window telling me 'Cannot detect camera. Check connection to camera then retry'. There's no connection problem: device manager sees it and reports no problem; camera works fine on another computer; camera works fine with Logitech Capture V 2.08 on this computer. Settings are set appropriately in Settings/Apps & features/Apps/Camera. Windows Camera Frame Server is running in Services. Anything else I should try ?

Ensure that Camara is enabled under Privacy settings.
