I used to create different folders in windows mail app. to save certain e mails referring to bills or delivery notes etc. When I needed to reload windows 10 ,all my extra folders in windows mail disappeared .

To make a start, if you can remember the titles of any of the contents, do a search. This, at worst, will locate where (hoping) they have been moved to.

Do these folders Show under the webmail version of the account? If not then the folders were only created locally so the emails/folders can not be recovered.

Yes, all folders show up on TALKTALK's mail web page-weird!
