Does Microsoft plan to, or is there an existing third party that has developed the ability to use the Win 10 'background' as an interactive feature / app?
Its perceived use is as follows:-
When using the Settings >
Personalisation > Background / Colours / Lock screen / Themes / Start feature,
I would like the ability to also utilise an app or interactive interface in the Background and Themes option.
Background
For instance, if I am able to download a high quality picture of a 'world map' in say 8000 x 4000 pixels, I will have to arbitrarily default to Fill / Fit / Stretch / Tile / Center / Span.
My screen size default is 1366 x 768 pixel.
I would like the ability to "click" the background and zoom the original 8000 x 4000 pixel map for more detailed information.
I think that it was always the case until Windows XP, that you could customize the desktop with as many pictures in any layout as you desired.
Themes
Likewise, the 'theme', should have the ability to host an app/s such as live weather.
Can these types of functions be accommodated?
