Windows 10 blocking internet

So i just upgraded from 7 to 10. Ive never had internet issues. The internet works sometimes for ten minutes then is blocked. Then sometimes work for 2 hours then its blocked. Ive disabled the network connection and then enabled it. It fixes it for 10 minutes then blocked. Ive tried updating my network driver software and it says up to date. Any ideas how to fix this?

Assuming that you are using Microsoft Edge as your default browser.

Switch default to IE11. See if problem is resolved using IE11.

If you dislike IE11. try 3rd party browsers such as Google Chrome, FireFox , etc.
A lot of people are using them instead.

I guess you are talking about your internet connection, generally?

Have a look at your adapter(S).
Right click the start button and select the Device manager.
Scroll down to the Network adapters and, for starters, right click the adapter, or each adapter in turn, if more than one. and select "Update driver software". Follow the prompts.
You may be luck enough to find a better driver for the adapter(s), but, next:
After the right click, click "Properties " and then the "Power Management" tab. Untick the item "Allow the computer to turn off..etc.

See if that improves anything.
