Windows 10 not picking up on the latest major update

I've upgraded a Windows 7 machine to Windows 10. But since the major update came out this month, it is not for some reason finding it. Is there a way to overcome this.

Actually, I stumbled onto this site ...

Therefore I am downloading the upgrade from here. I first understood this to say it would simply upgrade the machine (thinking this was a repeat of what I had formly had done) but now understand this will simply update Windows 10 to the latest version. A moment of silence please!

Tried it said it couldn't update the reserve partition. Didn't give any instruction to correct the problem
