Windows Security Notifications

For the past week, on both my desktop and laptop, I keep getting notifications check virus protection, message is "Microsoft Defender Antivirus and McAfee Security are both turned off. Tap or click to see installed antivirus apps". When I check McAfee LiveSafe, it shows antivirus is "On".

Getting similar notification for firewall protection which I have not needed to use.

Is there a Windows update I'm missing to fix the annoying notifications?
