Just had MS latest update occur and after rebooting - get a message saying that Workgroup is no longer in Windows 10 Pro. What is going on with these idiots??? Why????

Lots of folks on various forums been talking about that for several days. Several of my computers got the latest Build on 6/12/18. I avoid the issue by using NAS drives accessible by any computer that can use the Network and the Internet, whether a wired connection or wireless. Also have 2 printers connected to the Network.

I don't know their exact motivation but possibly not many folks were actually using HomeGroups, I never did.
I suppose another possibility is some type of security issue or a change coming which might conflict with that configuration.
