10 cent sound problem

Dual boot laptop with single HDMI feed to TV. OS7 side right click volume icon in notification area sound option has playback tab speakers/headphones or communication headphones. No E280i (HDMI feed to tv).
OS10 side playback tab shows E280i or just plain speakers for laptop.

There's a checkmark missing somewhere. Any ideas?

I am not dual booted but my view is titled with the name of my tv/monitor. It is connected with hdmi.
