After re-start message appears on security: Set up one drive for file recovery options in case of Ransome ware attack

This just started the last two times after restart...Security icon has yellow exclamation point. Checking, all security items are on.
Is this something I need to do, or you recommend doing, and if not, how do I stop it?

IMO, this is MS trying to get you to use One Drive to store your data. I have 15 Gig free use on Google's My Drive and 5 Gig free on One Drive, but only use them for minor, non personal things that I have backed up elsewhere anyway. I got the same message a couple times, and I just ignore it.

Thank you for your reply! I imagine there is a charge then to use their storage space?

My Drive is 15 gig free with a gmail account, and One Drive is 5 gig free with an outlook account. If you want more space or more security there is a charge. Some more info https://www.cloudwards.net/review/onedrive/
