SOLVED Blue screen, no connection to router

For some weeks now, when I first switch on my PC, it does not connect to the router (WPS) . Trying to connect results in the blue screen with message Kernel Security Check Failure. I have now discovered that if I press the WPS button on the router and press connect in Settings, it will usually connect and then is OK until the PC is switched off. I have to go through this procedure every time the PC is switched on. Any suggestions please?

Sometimes a fix is much easier than expected! It was just necessary to select 'Connect Automatically'
