Cannot Log Into Outlook Email

I have been using windows 10 for a couple of months with success but I have just bought a new computer and cannot log on to my email account in 'outlook'. Outlook either doesn't recognise my email address or my password - I don't know which! Help!!

I'm guessing your using the Outlook email client. There is an Outlook.com email site. First of all if your using Outlook the email client (which comes with Office) it's just a client. The actual password is entered through the client to the email provider on it's email server. So in other words the username and PW are passing through Outlook to the server. Your email address is the account you created and which is your account+emailnameservername.com. The account is the account you created and the PW was also created by you.

Most likely MS office Outlook is not set up correctly, check you settings. I would think your outlook account is still active try logging into:
