Canon Printer Versus Windows 10

Only way to reach Settings for my Canon MG6250 printer is to search for the Control panel, go into Devices and click on Canon printer! I do not see how it could be like this, I have downloaded latest drivers and the "App" but the latter is worthless, there is no particular functionality behind it. Please advice how to proceed.

Same here on my HP Officejet 4500 wireless.
The full feature software package worked great on Windows 7 but I could never get it to function with Windows 8 and likewise with 10.
The minimal Windows 10 native drivers at least allow me to print and scan (using Windows Fax and Scan) but that's it, nothing fancy.

I run Lexmark printer and could not get to work I tried to install the new drivers still no good but I found my old original disks and installed them and it worked all seems ok.
