Changing Sign On Password

When I go into settings / sign-in options....nothing happens when I click on "change password". Any suggestions?

Try the old way.
Left click Win Start > Control Panel > User Accounts > Manage another account (You have to have Admin Account) Click on the user account you want to change > "Change the password and follow the prompts. If you are not the PC Administrator, your out of luck.

great advice, but when I left click on Win Start (assuming that the window icon in the lower left corner) there is no Control Panel option. further advice?

ok, upon further investigation, I located it. Had to go thru "windows system" then to Control Panel. Thank you.

There's no control panel when I right click start either. I pinned it to my start menu.

Well. I'm running Windows 10 Pro. Maybe that's the difference. Why would MS do that with such a useful tool.
