Recently, my computer has been having trouble booting so i performed a factory reset on the computer. After turning the computer back on after the reset, it brings me to a screen that says, "Choose an Operating System" that has two options. Both options are "Windows 10 on volume 2." There does not seem to be any distinction between them. But the problem is that if I click one, and it doesn't matter which one, or if I just let the computer automatically run on one of them, it loads for a few seconds with the "windows" screen, and then immediately loops back to the same "Choose an Operating System." It is stuck on an infinite loop. Help?

I'm not sure what you did or what happened.....but a factory reset should have set it to the day you took it out of the box and turned it on for the first time. It's done with the vendors proprietary software and the D drive where it contains the system image.

What it sounds like to me is you did a clean install and not formatting the old partition (deleting/wiping the drive) which gave you a 2nd OS...hence the boot choice.

Any advice on where to go from here?

First I have to know what you actually did...I just guessed at what happened.

That said if you want to do a clean install.....you'll need your windows 10 Product Key and the install media. Then follow this video....I prefer the USB method.
