Clean Installation

I have two Dell computers: a PC and a laptop. Both were installed with Windows 7. I upgraded both to Windows 10 and both worked fine. For the sake of safety, I did a backup of both with System Image. Afterwards I made, on both computers, a Windows 10 Clean Installation. With the laptop there were no problems but in the PC, after the installation, and at the beginning of the updates, it crashes to a blue or black screen. I tried the clean installation several times and always it ended with the same failure. Then I had no choice: I recover from the system image backup the original Windows 10 upgraded from windows 7 that works fine. As said before in the laptop there are no problems until now. Any ideas on what can be the problem with the clean installation?
Thanks

On your desktop computer (PC), run a system file check to look for corrupt files. It will try to do repair if any found.
If system file check finds corrupt files but unable to repair, then run the dism restore image .
Instructions for doing both is listed below :

Run system file check :
Right click at Start button > select Command Prompt (Admin) > at the flashing prompt, copy/paste this ................
sfc /scannow
> press Enter.

It will take quite sometime. When finished, it will give you one of the 3 reports : (paraphrasing )

1. No integrity violation.
2. Found corrupt files and repair successfully.
3. Found corrupt files but unable to repair.

If report is #1. Your solution lies elsewhere.
IF report is #2, try do a clean install again.
If report is #3, please do the following........

Right click at Start button > select Command Prompt (Admin) > at the flashing prompt, to avoid typo, copy/paste this.....

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

> press Enter.

Again, it will take some time. When finished it will give you a report.
If it says operation successful, try clean install again.
