Desktop scaling glitch after resolution change

I have a 4K monitor. Windows 10 resolution is set to 4K, and the scaling in the settings is set to 250% to make everything on the desktop look normal. But after Playing a game at 1080p this part of the desktop wont go back to normal. Even if I close the game completely with task manager. Any fixes? or is it a bug that I have to wait for an update to fix? It only goes away after a reboot.
