How big is the download file? Do you have sufficient space available on the drive that contains the Downloads Folder? What are the details of the computer, how much RAM, etc.?

Thanks for your reply. Download File: 1.04MB, requires 6.1MB. Lots of space in Downloads Folder. RAM: 6.0GB Windows 10 64 Bit. Processor Speed 3.60GHz.

Wow...this is weird/strange and it's a big red flag.....every site I try to go on to with the name Xionix.....Malwarebytes flags it and blocks it's connection. That tells me something right there.

What does this software do and why do you want to use it?

It's a Registry Scan, I have been using it for over 10 years with good results. Also recommended by McAfee.

So you clean out your registry on a regular basis? This is not a got idea and not recommended as these so called registry cleaners tend to do more harm then good. Doing so may be a direct cause of your situation.

Try running sfc /scannow in an elevated cmd prompt and lets see what it finds.

Xionix RegServe
Hi SASKPOOL,

a quote from their own website:

"Why do I get an error when I try to download/install RegServe?
If you are experiencing problems while downloading or installing RegServe, please try disabling your firewall or antivirus software temporarily. If you have an existing registry cleaner installed on your computer, you may have to disable or remove it for RegServe to properly operate. If you continue to experience problems after disabling the above applications, please contact our customer service department for additional assistance".

If your McAfee has expired that will cause the insufficient resource error you are seeing.

You may need to uninstall it, or update your subscription.
