A couple days ago I uninstalled Forza Horizon 4 but for some reason the game files are still on my hard drive and they are taking up 150gb. i have tried so many things to delete but they are locked by the system so I can't delete them because I am not authorized to.

Hi Fechals,

do you have more than one user account and if so, are you logging in with the account that has admin privileges?. ;)

Hi,

right click the offending folder > properties > Security > your name and see what permissions you have. Was the folder imported from another computer or created on the current one?. :)

Hi,

when you highlight your name and click on "Edit", how do the permissions look then?. :) You also have "Account unknown", are you sure you only have one user account?.

Press the Windows logo key + r and type "regedit", say yes to security question > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > Microsoft and see if you can find the game name and delete any entry you find and then restart and then try deleting the folder again. That is all I can suggest!.

Create a new user account and make it admin, see if you can delete the folder then!.

Did you import the folders from a different PC?. ;)

I could try copying everything else off of the drive and then formatting the drive but that would be a last resort

Try opening the store and choose which version you had and try either removing it from there, or re-install it and try removing it via Settings > Apps. ;)

Also, open a terminal in Ubuntu and type the following command to make you root:

sudo nautilus

enter your password and search for the file, mark it then press the Del key. :)
