Can't access .wmv files

for some reason I can't access .wmv files, even the ones I've recorded with my own camera. Windows says that windows can't access the file, apparently, that I don't have the right permissions.
Hope you can help,

Just reviewed the related thread. Obviously, this problem hasn't been solved..HELP!

Hi Lew,

did you import the files into your user account or a different account?, are you logged in as admin?, right click any file and open as administrator and see if that helps. :):):)
