Windows 10 Start button not working, can't access the apps, or Edge

There are 2 users on this home pc. Yesterday, whether I accidentally 'did' something wrong, that I am unaware of, my Start button, and therefore access to all the apps, and access to Edge, stopped working. I am using Google Chrome to access the internet etc., temporarily, but can't understand how to sort it out.

BUT, the second user hasn't got any problems and her Start, Apps, Edge are still working fine.

I have restarted the pc several times but that has not made any difference.
