Hi. First lap top and not that familiar with computers! Good combination, huh? I used to play Free Cell on my old PC and want to download it to my lap top so I can play off line. I have Windows 10. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you all!

    Welcome to the forums :).

If you search the Windows Store app, there are several Freecell alternatives to download (and are free). The "Microsoft Solitaire Collection" is the official Microsoft one - this link should take you directly to it:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/store/p/microsoft-solitaire-collection/9wzdncrfhwd2

If you want the "old" Freecell back, there's a link to download it here (http://winaero.com/download.php?view.1836), however... that page is full of misleading advertising and links, so if you are unfamiliar with PCs I would avoid downloading from that site. The download link on the page is currently marked as "Download Windows 7 games for Windows 10", above a donate button.

Ian you are certainly right about Winaero. But once one has got the 'old' solitaire suite, unzipped it and installed it it appears to be clean. I have the essential bits stored in Onedrive as the Insider builds remove the old solitaire every time.
