I am dissatisfied with Windows 10, which I have installed recently. Can anyone tell mw how I can get rid of it and replace it with Windows 8 (have a CD). Thanks.

IF you upgraded, then you have 30 days in which you can revert back to your previous version of Windows.
Click the start button, click settings, click update & security, select recovery from the left column.
The option should be there.

If you did not upgrade, you may have to select Boot from CD in the BIOS before loading from the Windows 8 CD.

Not necessarily. Most off the shelf PC's are that way by default, and most have a boot options menu. But there are occasions he may have to change the boot order.
