I'm a dummy.
I was playing around with the new Hotspot feature in the Windows 10 Anniversary update -
Settings-->Network-->Mobile hotspot
and accidentally disabled the network adapter for it.
If you turn it on, and then on the same page, click "Change adapter options" you will be shown your networks, ie your WiFi connection and your new Hot spot you've just created. If you right-click on the Hot spot and click "disable" it disappears.

Does anybody know how to get this back?

I'm on a Dell XPS 15 9550 if it matters at all.
Thank you!!

Hi Gardigga,

Welcome to the Forum.

If you right-click and disable the Mobile Hotspot in the Change Adapter Options window you are effectively turning the Mobile Hotspot off.

Thus to view it again you need to turn it back on via:

Start > Settings cog > Network & Internet > in left pane: Mobile Hotspot

Now in right pane: move toggle to ON beneath Mobile Hotspot

Regards,

go to the device manager (devmgmt.msc) under network adapters you should see adapters that is disabled, enable it and your mobile hotspot should work perfectly.
