If you are searching for a solution to recover permanently deleted data from the hard drive in your PC. So, I recommended using SysTools Hard Drive Recovery Tool. The program has the ability to restore corrupted files from a hard drive. Additionally, it aids in the recovery of raw data files from formatted drives, including ZIP, JPEG, GIF, PDF, MPEG LAYER - III, PNG, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, WAV, AVI, FH9, FH11, BMP, and others.

Might give the free Piriform Recuva program a try. Downside is some recovered files may be corrupted.

Historically, deleted files only had the first character of the name changed, usually to a ? which made the space on the drive available when needed. Defragging the drive would do the final deletion preventing recovery.

To recover permanently deleted data without using software, you can start by checking your Recycle Bin, as deleted files may still be there. You can also restore from a backup if available. Another option is using the "Previous Versions" feature on Windows to recover older file versions. If manual methods don’t work, the BLR Data Recovery Tool is a reliable solution for recovering permanently deleted files. It can scan your storage device, detect lost data, and restore it in various formats, offering a fast and easy solution without needing advanced technical skills.
