Defender01 I'm not certain if this is the correct answer and it's not the response that you are looking for. I don't believe that you can change the licensed registered user name without contacting MS customer support. Read section 2A of the Microsoft Software License Terms.

Yes i believe you could but looks like you cant anymore.

Couple of things come to mind that might work, Deactivate windows, then run an In place upgrade install that should give you a chance to put your correct User Name/email address in?
after that you probably won't activate, so select the Phone option. this may work if not you will have to go through MS Support.

I did try to find CurrentVersion but had no luck.

Not sure what that means, but.....
You can always copy and paste it into the address bar of the registry editor
