SOLVED Internet Explorer favourites disappeared

Under Windows 10, the favourites I had assembled over the past few years have disappeared. Any suggestions as to how they may be recovered?

Take a look in
C:\Windows.OLD
Look for a folder called Users\YourUserName
See if your favorites were preserved in there.
I assume we're talking about IE since you used the term Favorites.
