KB4056892 update and HP printer failure on Dell Inspiron n5010

successfully installed KB4056892 (OS Build 16299.192) on a Dell Inspiron N5010 recently. Since then I have been unable to print from any of my HP printers (laserjet 1020; officejet 4500). Ran all HP diagnostics, no solution. Does anyone know if this is a common problem, and update correction?

No, not really. The only sure fire way to fix it is to uninstall all your printers and then reinstall them. It's a PITA and takes some time but it does fix it.

I would uninstall everything for the printers to get a clean slate basically. In addition to that you might want to update your current system from 16299.192 to 16299.214 using KB4058258...
