Update list does not include KB4056892 that I am to uninstall

Cannot see how to uninstall Jan KB4056892 prior to installing March KB4088776. KB4056892 is not listed in installed updates., so do not know how to uninstall. No clear instructions found in forum to date to resolve. Any help? one suggestion says to run a Wiki link patch, but complications are mentioned with no resolutions.

there is no need to uninstall this update (KB4056892) as you will install it again with the KB4088776 as these updates are cumulative. The most recent though is KB4089848 as it brings the build from 16299.309 to 16299.334.
BTW: the Update KB4056892 is listed in my update list under the date of 4/1/2018 ...

I make a habit of saving the most recent copy of cumulative updates. Just in case I have to reinstall windows at a later date.

I have the same questions. My laptop will not install the March update KB4088776. It has tried for at least a week and keeps failing. Windows support page says to uninstall the KB4056892 but it is not on my list of updates either. My build is showing as 1709 16299.248. Not sure what to do as it just continues to try to update every day.

Is KB4054517 (16299.125) on your list or KB4058258 (16299.214)? I know you have KB4074588 (which is 16299.248). you may have skipped the KB4056892 (16299.192).

When I view Installed Updates it shows I have 4054517, and 4074588 as well as the 4056892. When I got to the Uninstall list, 4517 nor 6892 show up in the list, but 4588 does.

Drpeter My daughters Laptop was severe corrupted due to failed updates. Yesterday I decided to clean it up before the Spring Update 1803. It's last install was windows version was 14393.1060. I cleaned it up, deleted all the junk and uninstalled unecessary games/programs. Installed the fall updtate and the last cumulative update KB4088785 that I have on thumb drives and it's running like a Swiss watch, no problems or glitches. Awaiting and ready now for version 1803. You shouldn't have any problems if you follow the same procedure.
