Kernel update for linux

Thanks Dave,

I am actually running the dev version of Ubuntu 17.10 at the mo, I was trying it out on an old PC I am working on but the network card (old Intel network adaptor) isn't supported by the kernel (sucks!). The current kernel is as you see in the pic below. :):):)

I have a couple of WiFi sticks (both have Atheros chipsets) and they both work so no real biggy there, it would be nice if the really old hardware was supported as it is difficult to find drivers for Linux sometimes for certain types of hardware. I haven't scoured the net for any Linux drivers yet which I may well do!. :D:D:D
