Keyboard sluggish after update

I updated from Windows 8 to Windows 10 a week ago. Since then I have had trouble typing. Sometimes it works fine but every few strokes I press on a key and get no response and have to press 3 or 4 times to get a response on screen. The problem is not related to any particular key. My laptop is only 7 months old and I've not had this probm before.

I have identical issues - this Windows 10 upgrade has been a nightmare!

Hi Peter. Problem has now been resolved after I received a Windows update so maybe this will work for you too
