Having loaded win10 from win7, I couldn't log on to user account. I was told that password I'd been using for 15 years from xp days was wrong. Plenty of free password recovery software out there- free 'til you use it; then a payment is required. Eventually found site called passfolk. Brilliant!!! Didn't want payment (donations requested). Just burn it onto usb flash and plug it into offending pc, boot and you're away. (You obviously need another pc; if not use a friend's). Passfolk well worth a donation of 20 bucks!
