Low disc space on D: after last windows 10 update. D drive is actually empty.

Get continued flash notice about low disc space on the D: drive. The parameters indicate it is nearly full but the drive has no data or title of anything in the header. Tried to clean the D: drive with no results. There is no data to clean. The low disc space popup is really irritating. How do I get this eliminated?
