I upgraded my note book to SSD which dad a 750G and now 500G SSD. I have 21G free on recovery(D:) drive and 400+ on C: drive and would like to turn off the popup warnings. I only use notebook for email, browsing, etc. and will never need more space. I did watch the YouTube video but as I follow through there is no subfolder(Explorer) under Policies

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

What am I missing? or can this no longer be turned off?

thanks

Perhaps it might be helpful if you could use the snipping tool to capture an image of Windows Explorer as below

AND
Additionally another of your Disk Management console as below

Just so we're all on the same page and seeing what you are seeing so some helpful suggestions might be offered.

Yeah....
Just right click and choose "Change drive letter" and then click the "Remove" button.

Nope.
It'll still be there and you can reassign a drive letter whenever you want.
