Make Pen Behave as Mouse - with Software or Settings

Hi,

Am looking for a way to force the pen on my external tablet monitor to behave like the mouse using keyboard shortcuts.
App in question is MS Whiteboard.
Have tried uinsg "left click" as a setting in the driver, and holding down the left click on the mouse and moving the pen cursor.
No joy.

Any tips gratefully received.

I read your quest and it brought back memory over 20 years ago in a business. It was an engineering firm giving a computer group a demo of what they did in designing a bridge using a CAD program, the 'blueprints'. They used a pen with a button on the side to lock a line in place in the drawing. All that to say maybe step out of the box and look in the fringes of the computer world.
