On Feb 10th I downloaded update KB4601050 and Win 10 vers. 20H2. Ever since then, when I press on the start button some
of my pinned apps have a white background and the rest of the screen is also white. In all other cases my regular wallpaper is
correct. See partial screen shot below.

Hi Atomko,

have you tried changing the theme to see if it happens with different one?. :)

Do you have transparency effects active and are you using the dark colour mode or the light one?. :)

What GPU do you have and have you recently done any overclocking and/or installed new drivers?. :)

The 20H2 has changed the background for Start menu to a blurred effect. Now you’ll see the desktop wallpaper through the background.
It appears you have light theme active under Settings>Personalisation>Colours. Is this what you prefer?

I must be missing something as this thread was started Friday so no Sept 19th message.
I'm sorry, I was referring to message #6, I tried different combos and nothing helped. If this is a result of the
20H2 I'll live with it.

As Wolfe says if you turn off transparency effects it will disable the see-through Start menu. I personally like it but which it would reflect the colour of the themes I use. It just seems to be dark grey to me.

Evidently you are right about Update 20H2 changing background to blurred effect. It is something I can live with.
So as of now, I considered this problem solved and I want to thank Wolfie and Bastet for their input.
