Missing location software for old hard drive files.

My old HP desktop finally gave up the ghost so I bought a refurbished Dell Optiplex 9010, I connected my old HP HDD to the Dell and used Firefox browser to transfer my bookmarks, passwords, etc... then I copied and pasted my files to the Dell ''C'' drive but now I can't tell which file is which? Is there any way I can find the location software to reinstall it?

Generally speaking, my experience is that the older version of such files will be the largest of the two as a new install will not have much data in the files.
