My android phone isn't connecting to my computer

When I am connecting my android phone via USB cable, its not showing in my PC. My OS is Windows 10 and laptop is Dell Vostro. I can't take the photos and videos of my mobile in my PC. How to solve??

Make sure your phone isn't locked as in you have to enter a password first...the phone will not show in explorer otherwise.

I unlocked my password, but not even then too.

Try to use android transfer tool to connect your phone to pc.
You can have a try of AirDroid, which allows you to wirelessly transfer files, you can transfer the files from your phone to pc. And this android file transfer tool also has the same function to transfer pictures from phone to pc, I use it.

You have to set your USB connection on your phone to "Media Device".
Go to [Settings] then [Storage] and mark it as media device provided you have connected your phone to the PC already, otherwise you won't see that option...
