Today I downloaded Kaspersky Security Cloud and ran it's first full scan of the PC. They forewarned it may take some time but I did not expect the 5 hours that it did take. The app also required me to uninstall Malwarebytes, so I did that. Also uninstalled uTorrent as previously mentioned. Did a restart and the annoying 'Setup corrupted' popup did not return. Then shutdown the PC and let it rest about 30 minutes, the turned it on again. Bootup time was about 2.5 minutes but the annoying popup did not reappear. So, at this time I am assuming and hoping htat problem is now resolved. Nest step tonight is to try to activate MS Office 2013. I have only 2 more days to do that according to MSFT.
