In Windows 7, my laptop (Dell XPS) could access the home network (and internet) via a wired connection and the internet via wireless. This allowed me to use the wireless as a backup for internet access when the broadband cable connection went down, and still access files across my network.
After upgrading to Windows 10 I believe I can only have broadband or wireless - only when my ethernet cable is unplugged does the icon switch to show the wireless is active.
Is there a way to have Windows 10 behave the same as Windows 7 allowed - switch between broadband or wireless for the internet connection while still accessing the home network.
Thanks!
