New Folder freezes

This will be a recognised problem - when creating a new folder Windows Explorer (WE) freezes.
The only way out for me is to re-launch WE in Task Manager and even then, it does nor always clear the problem.

It has happened less frequently recently. Does anyone know if Microsoft have fixed it - there have been enough complaints.

When I create a new folder within Windows Explorer I have no freezing issues.

I'm using Windows 10 14393.726 Home edition.

Have you simply tried yourself to create one recently; I assume that would instantly answer your question.

No problems here as well, running Windows 10 Pro 64 #10.14393.726

Well, true, I don't seem to have the problem now, so assume MS have fixed it in an update.
I have never changed anything knowingly to try to fix the problem.
