SOLVED No one can hear me in-game (Mic works). Could it be graphics card-related?

Yesterday I changed my graphics card and now I'm afraid that whenever I talk in any kind of game no one can hear me. I checked my mic on skype and it worked. My mic is set as communication device obviously.

I've done that too. Doesn't do anything for me

Check Control Panel > Sound > Recording and check what your default mic ist.

IT WORKS NOW! DOn't know what fixed it though

It may have been that you clicking on things in the sound settings may have triggered it?. Please mark as solved so it may help others thanks.

I tried turning the computer on and off but I had tried that one time earlier and it didn't help back then
