I get a dialog with this message when I try to open an image or a .mp3 or a video file, usually a .mp4 or .wmv, in File Explorer using Windows 11. I have tried the usual suggestions like running sfc /scannow and registering various DLLs to no avail. Note that only image, music, or video files are affected. I can open text files and PDFs without any problem.
