Here are pictures. they should be attached to this message.
One shows that accounts section is missing and the other shows. the middle one shows my network adapters compared to the ones in settings app. The last one shows settings missing in network and internet setting .

I honestly thought someone would have replied by now considering it has 211 views. I am feeling ignored as none of my threads have been answered accept 1.

Apologies, not sure how I never saw this thread.
AND
Not sure how much research and fixes you might have found and applied.

The only thing I could find was a registry setting here
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
AND
A string value that can be either
hide:page_names or showonly:page_names

That might be a place to look.
AND
There might be an equivalent value in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

Not sure, but you might look there also.

Thanks for the reply.
One question as i am still learning registry I was wondering what that will do it seems like it might unhide something and will that work for all problems.
Have found something that might work I am going to try reinstalling as i found out a few days ago how.
By the way I know this is off topic how do you reset the dictionary for MS edge.

As far as I know you can't technically reset "the dictionary" it either works or doesn't based on the language you have chosen.

IF however you've accidently added a word, then you should be able to fix (remove, edit, delete, etc.) that in
Edge -> Settings -> Languages -> customize spell check

That's strange I am using laptop that has had windows 10 just installed (it is the one with insider problems) and there is no registry key in that folder.

I need something to look at. Take a snip and attach it to your next post.
Here's what mine currently looks like.

Looks proper to me.
Did you happen to check the same basic location under HKCU?

No I don't think I did but I have decided to upgrade from iso and I am pretty sure that will replace any missing keys and other problems I have had

Good luck.
Certainly worth a go.
Not sure if performing an "Upgrade" will cover all your bases but certainly worth a try.

OF course a custom clean install (I know, I know) would certainly do the trick.

You were right the reason that registry entry wasn't on the laptop was because nothing was hidden So I checked it I don't care because I have the accounts section now thanks trouble
