Here is my problem. I want my laptop to display on to a monitor via HDMI connection via a HDMI switch. Now the HDMI switch is suppose to automatically connect when it seen a signal from the laptop.

The problem is (I think) when the switch toggles, the laptop sense a disconnect and cuts the HDMI signal. And in turn the switch will not connect because it does not see a HDMI signal from the laptop.

So I think the fix is.. if there is a way to get the laptop to keep sending HDMI signal regardless.

If so how??
