Hello Kevin and welcome to the forum.
So, I gather from both the Title of your thread and your post that, your password is not working with your user name?
With only that to go on, it's a bit difficult to suggest a possible solution.
Is it a Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, 2 in 1?
What is the manufacturer's Name, Model Name, Model Number (specifics)?
Are you using a wireless keyboard with a Blue Tooth dongle?
If so, perhaps try a wired USB or depending on how old your rig is a PS2 keyboard.
Can you or have you attempted to use the Ease of Access Icon at the logon screen to evoke the On Screen Keyboard to enter your password?
Are you using a local account?
Are you using a Microsoft account?
