Hi.

WINDOWS 10 PRO 64 BIT

THE SYSTEM PATH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING ENTRY ALONG WITH MANY OTHERS. IT IS IMBEDDED, NOT AT THE END.

C:\DIR-A\DIR B\DIR C\


DIR C CONTAINS
DIR-D --- DIRECTORY
DOCA.TXT


THIS WORKS

CD C:\DIR-A\DIR B\DIR C

COPY DOCA.TXT DIR-D\DOCB.TXT


THIS DOES NOT WORK

CD C:\DIR-A\DIR B

COPY DOCA.TXT DIR-D\DOCB.TXT
THE SYSTEM CANNOT FIND THE FILE SPECIFIED

I DON'T KNOW WHY WINDOWS CANNOT FIND DOCA,TXT IF THE PATH IS WORKING CORRECTLY . I'VE OBVIOUSLY MISSED SOMETHING BUT i CAN'T PINPOINT IT.
