Pics look like a negative (including pics on Social Media)

My 9-year-old laptop died. So I got a new refurbished one. In setting the display (my goodness there are many places to change the setting) I remember seeing a command to use display a certain way because of the reverse-looking pics. I can't remember where to find that setting. I've looked and looked, and no luck.
