SOLVED Picture Folders

After upgrading from 7 to 10, my picture folders no longer show icons of my photos. They only show the drawn background image of a blue mountain. When I click on each image, they open up fine, but I can't get them to appear on the icons.

Any suggestions?

Open the folder you keep your pictures in, click on the View tab and chose small,medium,large or extra large icons. They should change immediately.

I already tried that, and it didn't work.

 

[Trouble]

Make sure you view settings are not set to always show icons never thumbnails.
Open File Explorer, select View from the menu bar and then click the Options icon and then select change folder and search options
Select the View tab on the resultant dialog box and uncheck the top box if checked.
