SOLVED Power Chute software won't Install

Thanks for all your help. I am sure that it is the computer also. This is because I have also have no issue when I
install it from the same app.com website and it will download and execute properly on my HP laptop and HP surface computers but not my less than a year old Dell XPS 8920. I have called and called Dell and they as well as APC just want to blame it on each other. I am going to completely wipe my computer clean and reinstall EVERYTHING
Windows 10 and all programs. Hope that fixes this particular issue on my Dell.

Thank you for all the time you have spent helping me get to the root of the problem. I might also add that Microsoft as well as Dell was unable to find the problem and correct it. I will not give up until my computer is working as it
should.

I surely will post the final results in a few days.

Reinstalled the software disk that came with the program and it is working fine now. Don't know what was wrong.

I have not tried to update it and am not going to.
